Scope of Medical Services Offered by Doctors Wolfgang Tacke, Christoph Weber, Stephan Dols:
- Gastroscopy (including all diagnostic and therapeutic measures, such as helicobacter quick test, helicobacter culture [including resistance testing], biopsy, polypectomy, hemoclips, therapy of varices [ligature and sclerotherapy], stenosis therapy [bougienage, balloon dilation, tube implantation, etc.])
- Colonoscopy (covering all diagnostic and therapeutic measures, such as biopsy, polypectomy, including large polyps with wide surface areas [sling polypectomy, mucosectomy, argon beamer coagulation, etc.], hemoclips)
- Pancreatic and bile duct diagnostics (ERCP, including papillotomy and stent implantation)
- Ultrasonic examination of the abdomen and the thyroid (including colour Doppler and duplex sonography, ultrasound-controlled puncture techniques)
- Care of patients with chronic gastroenterological diseases (Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, coeliac disease, etc.)
- Diagnosis and therapy of liver diseases (such as chronic hepatitis C, hemochromatosis, hemosiderosis, etc.). Dr Tacke and Dr Weber are both associate members of the Network of Competence for Hepatitis (Hep-Net).

- Outpatient and inpatient tumour diagnosis with co-ordinated tests; development of an integrated therapeutic concept combining various different therapeutic approaches (chemotherapy, surgery, radiation treatment, immunotherapy, supportive therapy), tumour prevention, tumour post-treatment, monitoring of diseases of the haemopoietic system and of malignant growths, staging, consultative examination, outpatient bone marrow examination (bone marrow puncture, biopsy), outpatient lymph node, pleura and tumour puncture, outpatient chemotherapy, immunotherapy using cytokines (interferon’s, interleukin), therapy using antibodies, tumour pain therapy, transfusion of blood and blood components, diet consultancy for tumour patients, supportive therapy. “Second opinion” consultancy: We will gladly assist patients who wish to hear a second opinion on malignant growths or a blood disease.
