And neurological disorders

The Main-Taunus Private Clinic's center for treating psychological, psychosomatic, neurological, And sleeping disorders is situated in a very quiet park area not far from Hofheim's old city center. The center has 20 beds and is headed by Professor Dr. Stephan Volk, an attending physician at Main-Taunus Private Clinic. In consultation with patients, doctors at the center base their methods of treatment on personally designed programs according to patients' individual needs.

Treatment draws on the entire range of recognized psychotherapeutic approaches and pharmacological therapies. Psychological and psychosomatic disorders are treated with integrative depth psychotherapy and behavior therapy. Treatment with medication complies with current international standards. Examination and treatment of sleeping disorders are performed in cooperation with doctors at the Sleep Lab in Hofheim.

Patients at our clinic are viewed and treated holistically. Therapists and patients work together in an atmosphere of consent and confidentiality. Our center's staff aims to provide patients with a safe, secure, and friendly environment that promotes communication and mutual respect and fosters patients' sense of well-being and personal development.

Working together with doctors and therapists in a therapeutic setting, patients will begin to feel more self-confident, will gain a greater sense of their skills and self-worth, will be supported in their ability to cope with life, and will rediscover how to rely on their own personal strengths. Our doctors' and therapists' main aim is to enhance patients' quality of life and their psychosocial skills, also on a long-term basis once they leave the clinic.

The center's two-floor building houses spacious private rooms with either a balcony or terrace, a suite, a community and dining room, and a kitchenette. The Main-Taunus Private Clinic has access to the services and infrastructure of the neighboring Fachklinik Hofheim GmbH (Hofheim Specialty Clinic) and the Hofheim Acute Care Hospital located in the immediate vicinity.
